Experience

Accumulated technical experience in acoustics, noise and vibration

NoiseLab brings together a team with professional experience in acoustics and vibration since the late 1990s and has operated as a company since 2011. The accumulated experience combines field work, testing and monitoring, acoustic modelling, data processing and interpretation, technical diagnosis and the production of studies and reports.

NoiseLab

The team’s accumulated experience

Noise and vibration in transport and infrastructure

Studies, measurements and monitoring related to rail, metro, airport and road infrastructure, viaducts, tunnels, construction works and other sources with potential acoustic or vibration impact.

Environmental noise, industry and nuisance

Assessment of ambient and residual noise, characterisation of industrial sources and equipment, analysis of nuisance situations, diagnosis of dominant sources and support for mitigation measures.

Building acoustics

Airborne, impact and façade sound-insulation measurements, reverberation time, building-services noise and assessment of acoustic conditions in residential, commercial, technical and sensitive-use buildings.

Noise mapping and planning

Preparation and updating of noise maps at different territorial scales, acoustic modelling, impact studies, noise-reduction plans, action plans and technical support for spatial-planning instruments.

Vibration and monitoring

Vibration measurement in buildings, infrastructure, equipment and receivers, short- and long-term surveys, event analysis and assessment of temporal correspondence between acoustic and vibration phenomena.

Modelling, data and technical production

Development and validation of acoustic models, processing of mapping and traffic data, organisation of time histories and spectra, development of calculation methods and production of technical reports.
